LakePharma, a biotechnology company that is based in the San Francisco Bay Area that provides services and products to researchers in both industry and academia, announced the appointment of Tony Fong as National Sales Manager. Mr. Fong will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing operations at LakePharma.
Mr. Fong brings over 30 years of industry experience to LakePharma. Most recently, Mr. Fong served as District Manager of the San Francisco Bay Area sales team at Rainin. At Rainin, Mr. Fong was the first member of President’s Club given to the top sales territory of the year. Mr. Fong's team has either met or exceeded their sales targets every year since 2006. For the last 4 years, one member of his team has been recognized for their overall sales and has been name top representative of the year. Previously, he held sales positions at Biospace and Pangene. In addition, Mr. Fong has an extensive research background from working at Cetus, Triton, Somatix, and Avigen, all biotech companies in the Bay Area. Mr. Fong received a B.A. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from U.C. Berkeley and an M.B.A. degree from Cal State Hayward.
