Biotinylation
Biotinylation, the process of covalently attaching biotin, can be performed on your protein or antibody. Because of its small size, biotin is a popular label that has little effect on an antibody's immunoreactivity. Biotin can bind to streptavidin and avidin with extremely high affinity and is used to increase the sensitivity of detection in many immunological procedures.
